What should I be aware of when driving in winter?
The Tajima region, where Kinosaki Onsen is located, has snowfall, and snow is possible from late November to mid-March. Please come prepared with snow tyres or chains.
How do I get there from Kinosaki Onsen Station?
Please use the free check-in bus run by the inn association from JR Kinosaki Onsen Station. Tell the driver you are going to Suishoen. It runs 14:00-18:00; outside these hours please call the inn.

Is a soto-yu bathhouse pass included?
All plans include a pass for the soto-yu public bathhouses of Kinosaki Onsen. It can be used from check-in (14:00) until 13:00 after check-out the next day.

What is the atmosphere of the inn?
It is an inn in a new Japanese sukiya style, with tatami throughout so no slippers are needed. Features include a spacious lobby looking out on the inner garden and the faint scent of the inn's original incense.

Is there a sauna?
There is a high-temperature dry sauna, with an open-air cold plunge bath and an outdoor cooling space. It is recommended for easing fatigue and refreshing yourself.
What bathing facilities are there?
There are separate communal baths for men and women, a rock open-air bath, a sauna, a cold plunge bath and a jacuzzi. A baby cot is also provided in the changing room.

Crab plans are available in winter (usually around November to March). Kinosaki is famous for snow crab, so please do try it.
