How long does a taxi take and what does it cost?
About 40 minutes from Jomo-Kogen Station on the Joetsu Shinkansen, from 10,000 yen. From Minakami Station on the JR Joetsu Line it is about 25 minutes, from 6,500 yen. Times and fares may vary with weather conditions.
Can I come by train and bus?
From Jomo-Kogen Station, take a Kan-etsu Kotsu bus to Minakami Station (720 yen), then change to a service bound for Yunokoya for about 35 minutes and get off at the nearest stop, Fujiwara Ski-jo Iriguchi (1,550 yen), from where it is about 30 minutes' walk. A shuttle bus from Jomo-Kogen Station (booking required) also runs; it is charged in winter.

Can I ski or play golf?
Located along the Kan-etsu Expressway, the hotel offers highland golf and skiing. There is also a good range of adventure activities such as rafting on the Tone River. Different activities are available through the seasons.

What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out is by 11:00. If you arrive early you can complete the formalities first (early check-in procedure) and leave your luggage at the cloakroom. Room keys are handed over from 15:00.

There is a communal bath and an open-air bath where you can enjoy Minakami's finest waters, said to be good for the skin, fed directly from the source. You can bathe while taking in the seasonal scenery.

Yes. The location gives convenient access to Oze National Park, Mount Tanigawa and Takaragawa Onsen. It works well as a base for sightseeing.

We ask for your preferred dinner seating in the order that guests complete the formalities, from 7:30 on the morning of arrival. To ease congestion we may divide entry times, so you may not be able to choose your time freely. We ask for your understanding.
