Sanroku Station is inside the Awa Odori Kaikan building (2-20 Shinmachibashi, Tokushima City), about 10 minutes' walk from JR Tokushima Station.

How long does it take?

What is at the summit?
The summit has Bizan Park, with a cherry blossom viewing area and a wild bird observation area. The view from the observation plaza on top of Bizan is the main attraction.
I heard new gondolas came in in 2025.
In spring 2025 the gondolas were replaced for the first time in 25 years, making the ride more comfortable.

What is the view like from the summit?
From the observation plaza at the 290 m summit you can see across Tokushima city and the Yoshino River, and on a clear day as far as the Onaruto Bridge, Awaji Island and the Kii Peninsula. The night view is beautiful too, and it is the largest night-view spot in the Tokushima area.
When can I see the night view?
From April to October the ropeway runs until 21:00, so the night view can be seen. Dusk and evening in the summer months, April to October, are especially recommended.

It may be suspended in strong wind or bad weather. Please check the official website or call before visiting. There is also a period of suspension in winter, around February, for a full inspection of the facility.
