How far is it to Shokason-juku?
Shokason-juku (Shouin Shrine) is just a few minutes' drive from the facility. Our inn is located on the left mountainside on the way to Shouin Shrine from Higashi-Hagi Station.
How do I get here from the nearest station?
About 5 minutes by taxi from JR Sanin Main Line Higashi-Hagi Station, or about 20 minutes on foot. About 40 minutes by car from Chugoku Expressway Minae-Higashi IC.

What types of guest rooms are available?
We offer 90 rooms of varied types, including special rooms on the top floor overlooking the Hagi cityscape, rooms with private outdoor baths, Japanese-Western style rooms, and Japanese-style rooms. Children under elementary school age cannot use the special rooms.

What is the view like from the observation deck?
From the Agatsuma-yama (Oku-Hagi) observation deck, you can overlook the Hagi cityscape and the Sea of Japan beyond. An SL-style shuttle bus (fee applies) takes you to the observation deck, where you can also enjoy the scenic foot bath upon arrival.

What types of baths are available at the hot spring?
We use our own hot spring source drawn from 2,000 meters underground. We offer 14 different types of baths for both men and women, including outdoor baths designed to evoke Hagi's traditional clay walls and castle stone walls, a 120cm-deep standing bath, and baths with water flow features.
What is the water quality and what are its benefits?
It is a simple hot spring with high ion concentration, known for its skin-beautifying effects and benefits for joint pain and neuralgia. It is popular as a "beauty spring."

We serve dishes featuring Hagi's seasonal ingredients, including fresh local fish from the Sea of Japan, summer mandarins, Miran beef, and local sake. We also offer "fugu" (pufferfish) cuisine, a specialty of Yamaguchi Prefecture, year-round.
