About 10 minutes' walk from the north exit of JR Tottori Station (about 2 minutes by taxi). The inn is right in the middle of Tottori's town centre, a convenient base for sightseeing or business.

There are 25 rooms in total, in several types: 8-mat Japanese rooms or Western twin rooms in the old wing (Gensuitei), and Japanese and Japanese-Western rooms in the Hakusuikan wing.

Can I use the baths without staying overnight?
Day-use bathing is available at 1,100 yen for adults, 800 yen for elementary school children and 300 yen for younger children and infants. Reception is 13:00-20:00, though we may have to decline when the baths are busy.

What kinds of baths are there?
There are six baths, including three open-air ones: the cypress and granite bath, the garden open-air bath and the private cypress open-air bath. The private open-air bath, where you can bathe undisturbed, is especially popular.
What are the qualities of the hot spring?
Tottori Onsen is a sodium chloride and sulphate spring, colourless, clear and soft on the skin. Our own historic source, discovered in 1897, flows continuously into the baths. It is a natural hot spring rising in the centre of a prefectural capital, which is rare in Japan.

What sightseeing spots are nearby?
The inn is convenient for attractions in Tottori City such as the Tottori Sand Dunes (about 20 minutes by car), the Tottori Castle ruins (Jinpukaku) and the Sand Museum. Being in the town centre, it is also well placed for an after-dinner stroll or a round of izakaya.
