How do I get there by train?
About 5 minutes by taxi from Joshu-Fukushima Station on the Joshin Electric Railway. From the east exit of Takasaki Station (JR and Joetsu Shinkansen) it is about 30 minutes by taxi. There is no direct bus, so a taxi from the station is the convenient option.

What is served at the buffet?
A range of konnyaku dishes including ramen and desserts, all free of charge. There is a wide choice of unusual konnyaku menus, and the buffet hall is free to use.

Can I buy souvenirs?
The shopping zone sells more than 200 items, including products exclusive to Konnyaku Park and Gunma souvenirs. The food market also sells vegetables, fruit and processed foods.

Do I need to book the hands-on courses?

Can I visit the Tomioka Silk Mill as well?
The Tomioka Silk Mill is about 10 minutes by car from Konnyaku Park. We sell tickets for the mill, and buyers also receive a fast pass for the buffet.

Is there an admission charge?
Entry, the factory tour and the konnyaku buffet are all free. Only the hands-on courses (making konnyaku, konnyaku fruit jelly, konnyaku colour magic and so on) are charged, at around 1,100-1,430 yen for adults and 770-990 yen for elementary school children.

What is Konnyaku Park?
It is the only theme park in Japan devoted to konnyaku. As well as factory tours, a free buffet and hands-on making sessions, there is a foot bath, a Ferris wheel, a shopping zone and a food market.

You can see the production of jelly, block konnyaku and shirataki noodles, watching at close range how konnyaku is made. The tour is free.
