How many rooms are there, and of what types?
There are 67 to 72 rooms in total. As well as Japanese rooms in the Hanakan wing there are rooms with beds. Some rooms have fine views, looking west to Mount Iwaki and east to the Hakkoda mountains.

Day-use bathing is accepted 9:00-21:00. Please contact the inn on 0172-44-3711 for charges and how busy it is.

What baths are there?
There are three bathing areas of various sizes, including the large bathing hall and the medium bath Manten-no-Furo. A private cypress bath is also available for a fee.
What is the apple open-air bath?
It is our signature bath, using weakly alkaline sodium chloride water with a smooth feel on the skin. Apples, for which the area is known, are part of the setting, and it is especially popular with women.
What are the qualities and benefits of the hot spring?
It is a weakly alkaline sodium chloride spring known as a beauty bath. The abundant water is close to 100 per cent from the source and warms you thoroughly. It is said to help with fatigue and poor circulation and to benefit the skin.

What sightseeing spots are nearby?
Hirosaki is about 20 minutes away, the Shirakami mountains and Anmon Falls about 80 minutes, and Lake Towada about 90 minutes, making the inn an ideal base for Tsugaru and Aomori. You can also enjoy views of Mount Iwaki and the wide Tsugaru plain.

Is there a shuttle service?
A free shuttle bus runs daily from JR Hirosaki Station (Joto exit), and from Aomori Station (east exit) and Shin-Aomori Station (east exit) on Thursdays to Sundays only. Please book by phone on 0172-44-3711 at least two days before your stay.

What is the food like?
Dinner is a buffet making generous use of local ingredients, including creative dishes using apples. Plans with self-service unlimited drinks are also available. Breakfast is also a colourful buffet of more than 30 items.

How do I get there?
About 10-15 minutes' walk from Hiraka Station on the Konan Railway. By car it is about 45 minutes from Shin-Aomori Station and about 50 minutes from Aomori Airport. Free shuttle buses run from JR Hirosaki Station (Joto exit), Aomori Station and Shin-Aomori Station (booking required at least two days in advance).
