How far is it from Kurokawa Onsen town?
We are located on a hilltop slightly away from Kurokawa Onsen town. It's about 5 minutes by car to the town (shuttle service available 15:00–17:30).
Is there a possibility of snow in winter?
Kurokawa Onsen is at high elevation and can experience snow in winter. If driving, please prepare snow chains or studless tires for snow and icy conditions.

What types of rooms do you have?
We offer two types: single-storey rooms (with panoramic interior bath and deck space) and two-storey rooms (5 terrace-style rooms and 1 detached cottage). All rooms are designed to maximise privacy.

Are there time restrictions for using the open-air bath in the room?
The open-air bath in your room is available 24 hours. The large communal bath (private reservation) is open 7:00–22:00 (closed 10:00–15:00).
Do all rooms have an open-air bath?
Yes, all 9 guest rooms have a private open-air bath (or semi-open-air bath) with 100% hot spring water in free-flowing style. The character of each bath differs by room—cave bath, reclining bath, standing bath, etc.
Is there a large bath?
We have a large bath available for private reservation. Operating hours are 7:00–22:00 (unavailable 10:00–15:00).

What kind of meals are provided?
Japanese dinner featuring local specialties and carefully selected ingredients is served in the dining rooms "Yoasobi" and "Fumoto". We also offer traditional Japanese breakfast with a variety of small dishes.

How do I get there?
No direct train station (use Hita or Aso Station). About 5 minutes by car from Kurokawa Onsen bus stop. Convenient bus options include direct service from Fukuoka and the Kyushu Cross-regional Tourist Bus from Kumamoto Station and Beppu Station. About 1 hour 17 minutes by car from Kumamoto Airport.
