It is a quiet inn of 18 rooms. Rooms facing the mountain garden, including Japanese rooms with their own open-air bath, let you relax at leisure.

How much water does the spring yield, and what are its qualities?
We have the most abundant supply in Yamashiro, 540 koku (about 100,000 litres) a day. Both the large communal bath and the open-air bath are fed continuously from the source. The water won a gold medal at the international mineral spring exposition in Germany in the Taisho era and is highly regarded internationally.

Is there a display connected with Kitaoji Rosanjin?
The teahouse gallery displays Rosanjin's calligraphy, vessels and seal carving, alongside contemporary art chosen by the proprietor. Rosanjin once stayed at this inn, and his meeting with the first Suda Seika set him on the path to ceramics.

What is the food like?
We serve fine dishes in fine vessels: seafood from the Sea of Japan landed at Hashidate port in Kaga, traditional Kaga vegetables and local fruit, served on Kutani ware and Yamanaka lacquerware by local makers. All dining is in private rooms with tables and chairs.
