How do I get there by bus and train?
Take a Nara Kotsu bus bound for Dorogawa Onsen from Shimoichiguchi Station on the Kintetsu Yoshino Line to the terminus, then walk about 5 minutes.

What are the qualities of the hot spring?
It is 100 per cent natural water from Ominesan Dorogawa Onsen, a colourless, clear, hypotonic, weakly alkaline simple spring at 26 degrees Celsius. It is said to help with muscle aches and fatigue, and is well regarded for its effect on the skin.

What is there to do nearby?
Ryusenji temple and the Mempudo limestone cave are within walking distance. We can also introduce guides for climbing Ominesan (Sanjogatake) for guests staying with us. There is plenty of nature and culture, including Ominesan sightseeing, Tenkawa Benzaiten and the Mitarai Valley.

Is there a pick-up service?
We collect guests from the Dorogawa Onsen bus stop. Pick-ups from the Kawai stop, the Kannonmine Tozanguchi stop and Tenkawa Benzaiten can be arranged on request.

What are the rooms like?
All rooms are Japanese style, a somehow nostalgic space set apart from everyday life where guests can relax at leisure.

What food is served?
We serve country-style kaiseki using plenty of Nara ingredients: Yamato beef grilled on a ceramic plate, salt-grilled char, tofu made with the local spring water, tempura and sashimi. Yamato beef, with a history going back to the Kamakura period, is one of the highlights.

Is there parking?
There is free outdoor parking for 10 vehicles, including high-roof vehicles. On arrival the inn gives you a free parking ticket and directs you; the car park is about 80 m from the inn. From November to mid-March please bring winter tyres or chains.
