How do I get there?
By car, the nearest interchange is Kanazu IC on the Hokuriku Expressway, approximately 25 minutes toward Tojinbo. By train, JR Mikuni-ko Station is the nearest station. The nearest airport is Komatsu Airport in Ishikawa Prefecture. For parking, please confirm in advance by phone (0776-82-0067).

Located within the Echizen-Kaga National Government Park, it is near the scenic Tojinbo. It is a few minutes by car.

How many rooms are there? What kind of rooms are they?
All 7 rooms are suite rooms equipped with hot springs. The design allows the Sea of Japan to feel like your garden, with each room positioned so the view of the sea and waves changes at different angles. Each room is distinctive, with colors drawn from Fukui's natural landscape.

When was the inn founded?
Founded in Meiji 11 (1878) by our ancestors who operated a kaisen-donya (merchant vessel trading house). For over 140 years since, we have continued to preserve Mikuni's food culture.
I heard the inn was renovated in 2021. How has it changed?
In November 2021, the inn underwent a complete renovation from a classical wooden structure. The space now allows you to feel the sea up close from anywhere in the building, and all 7 rooms have been transformed into hot spring-equipped suite rooms. It is now recognized as a destination hotel by food enthusiasts from around the world.

What is the hot spring like?
All 7 rooms have hot springs where you can enjoy Mikuni hot spring water in a flowing bath. You can experience the Mikuni hot spring, known as a beauty bath, in the private hot spring of your room.

Where are meals served?
Meals are served in the dining area. You can enjoy kaiseki cuisine prepared by chefs knowledgeable in the bounty of sea and land, in a space overlooking the Sea of Japan.
How can I enjoy Echizen crab cuisine?
You can enjoy kaiseki (multi-course Japanese dinner) centered on carefully selected Echizen crab in the dining area. Mikuni-produced Echizen crab cuisine, which is also presented to the imperial household, is our signature dish and represents traditional flavors loved by many notable figures including Matsudaira Shungaku since our founding in the Meiji period.
