Can I drink the spring water?
Yes, we offer spring water drinking, the first of its kind in Aomori Prefecture. You can also enjoy "source spring cuisine" made with the spring water.
Do you have a private open-air bath?
We offer a 50-minute private open-air bath by reservation at check-in. Availability is 16:00–22:00 (last reservation 21:00). The sauna operates April late–October only (closed November–March).
What are the operating hours for the main bath and open-air bath?
The main bath and open-air bath are available 15:00–9:00 the next morning. The sauna is 15:00–22:00 (April late–October only).
How many private hot springs does the facility have? What is the water quality?
We have 9 private hot springs and offer 100% pure hot spring water circulation. The water quality is simple hot spring (hypotonic weakly alkaline high-temperature spring), safe for everyone from children to elderly guests.

What kind of meals are served?
Dinner is "Tsubaki kaiseki," prepared by our chef with seasonal ingredients in local style. Breakfast's specialty is "kaiyaki miso" (a traditional preparation without scallops), served in individual portions (7:00–8:30).

What kind of exhibits related to Munakata Shikō are there?
A gallery opened with our spring 2024 renovation, displaying works by Master Munakata Shikō that can only be seen here. The master is said to have bathed in our hot spring before painting, and we share a deep connection with him.

How do I access the facility?
About 6 minutes on foot from Asanushi Onsen Station on the Aoimori Railway. Shuttle service available from 15:00 onwards (advance reservation required). By car: about 15 minutes from the Aomori-East IC on the Tohoku Expressway, or about 50 minutes from Aomori Airport.
