How do I get there by train?
From the Tokyo direction, take the JR Joban Line to Mito Station, change to the Oarai Kashima Line, get off at Oarai Station and take a taxi for about 10 minutes. It is also about 90 minutes by car from central Tokyo.

There are restaurants and convenience stores in Oarai Town, with shops around Oarai Isosaki Shrine and in the Isohama town centre. The front desk can give you details.
