How do I get here from Kagoshima Airport?
It is conveniently located about 15 minutes by car from the Kagoshima Airport interchange. Shuttle taxis (paid, reservation required) are also available from Kagoshima Airport or Hayato Station.

How many hot spring sources do you have, and what is the water quality?
We have 7 private hot spring sources on our grounds. We pump the mineral water directly to the baths without adding water or using storage tanks, keeping it unexposed to air. Each facility—the large bath Tendokuden, the riverside open-air bath, and the Mukurinoki open-air bath—has its own dedicated source.
Tell me about the open-air bath "Mukurinoki."
This is a rustic outdoor bath where carbonic acid bubbles envelop your skin. Usage is divided by time: men only from 11:00–15:00, and mixed bathing from 6:00–10:00 and 15:00–24:00.

Is there a stream nearby?
Yes. We are located along the Amakudari River, which flows from the Kirishima mountain range. The stream is home to ayu sweetfish, dace, carp and other fish. Our riverside open-air bath allows guests to fully enjoy the fresh atmosphere of the stream.

What types of rooms do you have?
We offer the "Ishigura" (stone storehouse rooms with private open-air bath), a historic structure disassembled and rebuilt from a Showa-era stone granary, and the "Main Building" featuring diverse styles including sukiya and contemporary Japanese design. The main building has 14 rooms, including some renovated in 2023.

We serve Japanese cuisine using seasonal local ingredients including seafood, freshwater fish, mountain vegetables, handmade tofu, and soba. We also take care with our tableware, selecting pieces from artisans throughout Japan to complement each dish.
