About 5 minutes' walk from Mikuniminato Station on the Echizen Railway. From JR Awara-Onsen Station you can come by Keifuku bus via Tojinbo.

What is distinctive about the hot spring?
We use Mikuni Onsen water, which rises close to the Sea of Japan. It is a fine water with a high salt content, rich in minerals from the sea. This saline type of water warms you well and is held to help with neuralgia, muscle pain and poor circulation.

We serve dishes using fresh ingredients from Mikuni. In winter you can also try Echizen crab, the finest ingredient in Fukui, whose delicate, sweet meat and rich crab miso are exceptional.

The Echizen crab season opens in early November each year, and the winter crab dishes are especially popular. Out of season you can enjoy dishes built on the seasonal seafood of Mikuni.
