What is distinctive about the building?
The hotel was designed by Kisho Kurokawa, one of Japan's most original architects, and stands elegantly in a fine natural setting partway up the slopes of Mount Ikoma. At a height equivalent to about the 70th floor, its greatest appeal is the sweeping view over the Osaka plain below.

What are the opening hours of the large communal baths?
Separate natural hot spring bathing halls for men and women are available. Depending on bookings, there may be periods reserved for groups; the front desk will let you know.
What is distinctive about the hot spring?
It is a natural hot spring from our own source. The separate men's and women's bathing halls stand at a height equivalent to about the 70th floor, so you can bathe while looking out over the night view of the Osaka plain. The open-air bath has a superb view.

About 6 minutes' walk from Ishikiri Station on the Kintetsu Nara Line. About 20 minutes by car from central Osaka. Free parking for 50 vehicles. For groups of 15 or more, a shuttle bus runs from Ishikiri or Shin-Ishikiri Station (booking required).
