Tsukuba Shrine is approximately 8 minutes walk (about 400m) away. Many guests use the parking lot before check-in to explore the shrine before checking in.
How do I access the Tsukuba Mountain cable car and ropeway?
Tsukuba Cable Car (Tsukuba Station) is within walking distance from the inn. Guests receive a 50% discount voucher for Tsukuba Cable Car and ropeway (to be collected at the facility).

We offer a total of 40 rooms: 32 Japanese rooms, 6 Japanese-Western rooms, and 2 Western rooms. There are 11 room types in total, from a special room on the top floor to a modern Japanese-Western room on the first floor of the main building.

Yes, guests can use the foot bath free of charge. The foot bath is on an outdoor balcony where you can enjoy the surrounding scenery. Towels are provided.

What is the spring water quality and pH value?
The spring water is alkaline simple spring "Soushin no Yu" with a pH of 10.18. It is highly regarded as a beauty bath, and is characterized by a moisturizing feel after bathing. You can enjoy it in the open-air bath and large public bath.

What kind of cuisine do you offer?
We prepare Japanese-style creative cuisine using Ibaraki ingredients. You can enjoy original creative dishes featuring Ibaraki brand meats (Rose Pork, Hitachi beef, Hasato free-range chicken) and seasonal vegetables.

How do I get there?
From Tsukuba Station (Tsukuba Express) A3 exit, take the Northern shuttle bus for about 30 minutes to Tsukubasan-guchi, transfer to another bus, get off at Tsukuba Shrine entrance, then walk about 5 minutes. From Johban Expressway Tsuchiura-Kita IC, about 30 minutes via Route 125.
