How do I get there from the nearest station? Is there a shuttle service?
We offer a complimentary shuttle bus from Ashinomaki Onsen Station (approximately 5 minutes). Please contact us in advance to arrange pickup. We also have a complimentary shuttle bus between Aizu-Wakamatsu Station and our facility.

When does the cancellation fee apply?
Cancellation fees are: 100% on the day of stay, 50% the day before, and 30% for 2-3 days before. If you fail to arrive without notice, we will charge 100% of the room rate. Cancellation policies may differ depending on the plan you book, so please check your reservation details.

Check-in is from 15:00 (final check-in at 18:00) and check-out is at 10:00. Since final check-in is 18:00, please contact us in advance if you will be arriving late.

How do I get there?
Approximately 5 minutes by complimentary shuttle bus from Ashinomaki Onsen Station (reservation required). Approximately 40 minutes by car from Aizu-Wakamatsu IC. Approximately 3 hours 30 minutes from Tokyo area via the Tohoku Expressway, and approximately 1 hour 50 minutes from the Banetsui Expressway (towards Niigata). Approximately 25 minutes by car to Tsuruga Castle, approximately 30 minutes to Ouchi-juku, and approximately 20 minutes to Tou no Hetsuri.

Can we stay with children?
Children aged 2 and under can stay free of charge with no meals provided. Children aged 3 and above incur a charge. Children aged 13 and above are charged at adult rates. Please note that some rooms (Tsukimian -New Standard-, Tsukimian Wa-Modern, etc.) are for guests aged 13 and above only, and children aged 12 and under (including infants) cannot stay in these rooms.

Do you have rooms with private hot springs or saunas?
The "Tsukimian VIP Twin" and "Tsukimian VIP rooms" are equipped with private hot springs and saunas. We also have newly renovated private sauna and hot spring rooms that opened in June 2025. Please contact us for details.

Is there a bathing tax?
A bathing tax applies separately. It is 150 yen until the end of September 2025, and 350 yen from 1 October 2025 onwards. Please pay at the facility.

What kind of hot spring is it, and what baths are there?
The water is a sulphate spring with a source temperature of 60 degrees. As well as the open-air bath Shiki Butai Tanada, an indoor bath and a foot bath, there is a pink salt sauna using rock salt and a women-only bakuhanseki lying-down sauna. The water is held to help with muscle pain, skin conditions, rheumatism and nerve complaints.

What does the meal consist of?
We serve authentic Japanese kaiseki cuisine using abundant local Aizu ingredients. Local Aizu sake selected by our sake specialist is also popular. Meals at "KAWADOKO" with views are only available with specific plans. For guests on bed and breakfast plans, we also offer a "choice of set meals" for dinner.

What facilities are available in the building?
Tea lounge "Tonbo no Niwa", banquet halls and conference rooms, large public bath, open-air bath and sauna, spa salon "Miroku", gift shop and vending machines, and a floating stage (shamisen performances). Shamisen performances are held from 16:00 to 18:00 as schedule permits.

We provide 100 free parking spaces. You are welcome to use them when visiting by car.
