The inn stands at a superb vantage point at an elevation of about 600 m, and depending on the season and weather you may see a magnificent sea of clouds. Please look out for it early in the morning.

Standing on a plateau at about 600 m, the humidity is low and it stays cool even in summer, making it a good retreat from the heat.

What are the qualities of Sanbe Onsen?
Sanbe Onsen, said to have first flowed in the Hakuho period, is a weakly alkaline simple spring with a smooth quality that sits lightly on the skin. It is known as a healing water with high therapeutic value.
What is the view from the open-air bath?
From the open-air bath you can look out over the nature of Mount Sanbe, and at night enjoy a sky full of stars and the forest air. You can bathe amid superb scenery through the seasons.

We serve creative kaiseki cuisine reflecting the four seasons of Sanbe. There are two kaiseki courses, inspired by the Tsurezuregusa and the Tale of Genji. Local sake including the Iwami Ginzan brand can also be enjoyed.
