About 8 minutes' walk from Shin-Takashima or Minatomirai Station on the Minatomirai Line. About 6 minutes by taxi from Yokohama Station on the JR Tokaido Main Line, and about 20 minutes by taxi from Shin-Yokohama Station on the Tokaido Shinkansen.
How do I get there from Haneda Airport?
From Haneda Airport, take the Keikyu Line to Yokohama Station (about 20 minutes), transfer to the Minatomirai Line and get off at Shin-Takashima Station; it is about 8 minutes' walk. From Higashi-Kanagawa IC on the Kanagawa Route 1 Yokohane Line of the metropolitan expressway it is about 6 minutes.

What is the hotel's background and history?
Its roots lie in The Kahala Hotel & Resort in Honolulu, Hawaii, which opened in 1964. Built around more than half a century of Hawaiian hospitality, it is an urban luxury hotel whose concept draws on the ties between Yokohama and Hawaii (the gannenmono, the first Japanese emigrants of 1868, sailed from Yokohama Port).
