What is distinctive about the rooms?
The Japanese-style interiors were designed by Eiji Mitooka, known for the Seven Stars in Kyushu train. The rooms are comfortable, with walk-in wardrobes and bathrooms with a separate washing area. The upper floors, 9 to 18, look out over Beppu Bay.

There is a natural hot spring open-air bath on the roof, about 80 m above the ground, with a sweeping view of the sea and mountains of Oita. There is also a proper sauna for easing away the strains of travel.

How easy is it to reach the sights?
Directly connected to JR Oita Station, the hotel is an ideal base for the main hot spring areas such as Beppu (about 15 minutes by train) and Yufuin (about an hour by bus). The sights of Oita City are also within walking distance.
