How long does it take to get to Dogo Onsen Honkan?
It is about a 3–5 minute walk from our facility to Dogo Onsen Honkan. You can easily enjoy visiting the public bathhouses in your yukata (casual kimono).
How do I get here from Matsuyama Airport?
From Matsuyama Airport, take the Iyo Railway Limousine Bus (bound for Dogo Onsen Station) for about 40 minutes, or a taxi for about 30 minutes. From Dogo Onsen Station, our facility is about a 2-minute walk.

Tell me about the garden.
There is an expansive Japanese garden spanning about 1,500 tsubo with a stream running through it, where you can enjoy the scenery of each season. It features a picturesque design with a bridge leading to the hot spring.

When was the ryokan founded? What is its history?
Founded in the Kan'ei era (1630s) during the Edo period, this is one of Dogo's oldest ryokans with over 390 years of history. It has been cherished by many literary figures and notable people, including Natsume Soseki and Masaoka Shiki, and is also trusted as a preferred residence of the imperial family.

What kinds of hot springs do you have?
We have two large public baths—one with a granite tub called "Mikage-yu" and one with a cypress tub called "Hinoki-yu"—as well as an open-air bath. You can enjoy Dogo's famous hot spring water (alkaline simple spring) in bathing areas with different atmospheres.

Do you offer shuttle service?
We do not offer shuttle service. Since we are only a 2-minute walk from Dogo Onsen Station, please come by tram or other public transport.

What meals are provided?
Dinner is kaiseki (multi-course Japanese dinner) featuring fresh seafood from Matsuyama. The menu changes monthly to showcase seasonal ingredients. Breakfast is also provided.

We have a parking lot (50 spaces, outdoor). Passenger cars are ¥880 per night (paid), and covered garage for large motorcycles is ¥440. Valet service (free) is also available. Large vehicles are ¥1,650.
