How do I get there?
About 15 minutes by car or bus from JR Beppu Station (get off at Kamenoi Bus Kannawa bus stop and walk about 3 minutes). About 5 minutes by car from Beppu IC. Parking for 5 cars (free, available from 16:00).

What is the spring water quality like?
It is a sodium chloride hot spring with 100% source water directly drawn. It has excellent heat-retention properties and keeps you warm for a long time after bathing—you'll feel warmth radiating from your core. Both indoor baths can be used as private baths.
Can I use Wi-Fi?
Wi-Fi is available in all guest rooms.
Is there parking?
We have 5 free parking spaces (some with roofs). First come, first served. Available from 16:00 onwards. Please do not park after checkout. Vehicles larger than a minibus cannot access the parking area.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is 16:00–17:30 and check-out is 10:00. If you will arrive after 17:30, please contact us in advance. Late checkout after 10:00 incurs an additional charge of ¥1,500 per hour per person.
How should I set my car navigation system?
Enter our phone number (0977-66-2328) or search for "Beppu City Tetsuwara 229-2". Note: do not turn in at the entrance before the African Safari entrance.
Can I stay with children?
Children are welcome. We do not provide children's yukata, so please bring pajamas or equivalent. Please inform us in advance of your children's ages and genders so we can prepare their meals accordingly.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation charges are 100% of the accommodation fee for no-show/no-arrival and same-day cancellations, 80% for cancellations one day before, and 50% for two days before. Policies may vary by plan.
How do I access nearby attractions?
Shiraike Jigoku and Hyotan Onsen are within walking distance. Tetsuwara Onsen street is about a 2-minute walk away, and Jigokumushi Kobo Tetsuwara is nearby. Most attractions are within about 30 minutes by car.
What kind of food is served and how is it presented?
We serve kaiseki dinner featuring fresh seafood and mountain produce from Bungo, both breakfast and dinner in your room. Enjoy Oita specialties such as sekiaji, tori-ten, and jigoku-mushi prepared by hand by our innkeeper. Guests who book via our official website receive one complimentary drink at dinner.
How can I use the private bath?
Both indoor baths are available as private baths. Enjoy the source-drawn waters of Tetsuwara at your own pace in a private setting.
