How do I get there from Kagoshima Airport?
About 30 minutes by car (hire car or taxi) from Kagoshima Airport. By local bus, get off at the Maruo Onsen stop, from where the hotel is about 1 minute by car. If using the Kyushu Expressway, leave at Mizobe-Kagoshima-Kuko IC.

Kirishima Shrine (about 15 minutes by car), Takachihonomine within Kirishima-Kinkowan National Park and the Kirishima Open-Air Museum are all nearby. You can also see Sakurajima in the distance.

There is a kids' park in the hotel so that families with children can enjoy their stay. We are rated highly enough to place near the top of national hot spring rankings in the family category.

What kinds of baths are there?
There are more than nine baths fed continuously from the source, including milky white cloudy water, a cypress bath, open-air baths, a steam bath and a stone sauna bath. Day-use bathing is also available 11:00-15:00 (last reception 14:00).

We serve kaiseki cuisine and buffets using local ingredients such as Kagoshima black beef and black pork. We have won a number of cooking competitions, and our dinner is especially highly rated.

There is free parking for about 100 vehicles, including two accessible spaces beside the entrance (please enquire in advance). We may not be able to meet requests for a particular space.
