Is there a shuttle service from Nara Station?
Free shuttle service is available from Kintetsu/JR Nara Station (advance notice required). Phone: 0742-23-5255 (10:00–20:00). Shuttles from the hotel to the station depart at 9:15, 10:15, and 11:15. Please inform the front desk when checking in.

Is there a starry sky or night view tour?
We offer a tour for interested guests to enjoy the starry sky and night view of Nara from the summit of Wakakusa Mountain. Meeting time is by 21:00 at the lobby, participation is free, and no reservation is required (please let us know your interest at check-in). Tours may be cancelled in rainy weather.

How many guest rooms are there and what types?
We have 21 Western-style rooms. The penthouse suite on the top floor is the only room with a panoramic view extending to Kyoto. All rooms have internet access.

Where can I see the night view?
Located halfway up Wakakusa Mountain, you can see the famous temples of Todai-ji and Kofuku-ji, as well as the Yata Hills and Ikoma mountain range from the lobby and restaurant "TERRACE Wakakusa-yama". Enjoy the spectacular view, which has been recognized as one of Japan's three best night views.

At "TERRACE Wakakusa-yama" restaurant on the 4th floor, you can enjoy meals featuring local Nara ingredients. The experience includes coffee roasted in Nara, tea from Nara prefecture, and cups handmade by artists living in Nara.

There are 30 free parking spaces reserved for hotel guests and restaurant customers (outdoor). At the toll booth for the paid Shinwakakusa-yama Driveway (Nara Okuyama Driveway), you can proceed without paying the road toll if you tell them you're going to ANDO Hotel.

How do I get there?
Approximately 8–10 minutes by complimentary shuttle bus from Kintetsu/JR Nara Station (advance reservation required). Approximately 10–15 minutes by taxi. If driving, tell staff "ANDO Hotel" at the toll booth of the Nara Okuyama Drive Way entrance and you will be allowed through toll-free.
