How do I get there? Can I come by train?
By train, take a Chutetsu bus from in front of JR Okayama Station to Chugoku-Katsuyama (about 109 minutes), then the community bus to Yubara Onsen (about 34 minutes), and walk about 5 minutes. By car it is about 5 minutes from Yubara IC on the Yonago Expressway.

What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is 15:00 and check-out is 10:00. The curfew is midnight. Please contact us in advance if you will arrive later than planned.

It is a small inn with 8 rooms (7 in some listings) across two buildings, Musuian and Shokuto-kan. Every room has its own hot spring bath and a view over the Asahi River.

Can I use the baths without staying overnight?
Day-use bathing is available in the Shokuto-kan building. The large communal bath is 1,100 yen (12:00-16:00) and the private bath 5,500 yen for 60 minutes. Please note that we are closed on Thursdays.

What kind of hot spring is it? Does the water flow continuously from the source?
The water rises naturally from beneath the building and is used at 100 per cent, flowing continuously from the source. Every bath in the Shokuto-kan building is fed this way, and all rooms in the Musuian accommodation wing also have their own hot spring bath.
Is there a private bath?
There is a private bath at 5,500 yen for 60 minutes (also available to day visitors). Overnight guests should check and book through the official website or at the front desk.
