What is the water quality of Shioe hot spring (Beppin-no-yu)?
It is a simple alkaline mineral spring with a slightly silky texture and clear, colourless water. Known as "Beppin-no-yu" (Beauty Bath) for its reputation of leaving skin smooth, it has been cherished by travellers for generations.
Do you have a large communal bath and outdoor bath?
Yes, we have both. You can bathe in the indoor bath while enjoying the view through large windows, and also experience the seasonal landscape in our outdoor bath overlooking the mountains.
I heard all guest rooms have hot spring water. Can you tell me more?
All guest rooms have Shioe hot spring water piped in, so you can enjoy the bath in your room 24 hours a day. Japanese-style rooms can be chosen with either river or mountain views, and come with a spacious ensuite bathroom featuring a hot spring bath with a washing area.

What kind of place is Shioe Hot Spring Resort?
It is a hot spring destination with a history of approximately 1,300 years, known as "Takamatsu's inner sanctum." It is designated as a "National Hot Spring Resort" alongside Dogo Hot Spring in Shikoku. Surrounded by the Sanuki Mountains, beautiful natural scenery unfolds along the valley with each season.
