The inn stands in a corner of Tsurugisan Quasi-National Park, looking down over the rugged Oboke gorge with mountains of over 1,000 m around it. There is scenery in every season: mountain azaleas and fresh green in spring, deep green in summer, autumn leaves, and snow in winter.

The Koboke gorge and Tsurugisan Quasi-National Park are within 5 minutes' walk of the inn, and the Yokai Yashiki and stone museum at Michi-no-Eki Oboke are a few minutes away by car. There is also plenty to do outdoors: Obokekyo pleasure boats, the Iya vine bridge and rafting on the Yoshino River.

Yes, guests with children are welcome, and children's yukata are provided as an amenity. Please contact the property when booking about children's rates.

There are Japanese-style, Japanese-Western and Western-style rooms, along with rooms with their own open-air bath. There are 38 rooms in all (the figure may differ by plan) in a wide range of types, and the rooms look out over the Oboke and Koboke gorges.

Day bathing is available, 12:00-21:00 (last entry 20:00), at 700 yen for adults and 350 yen for children. Please check with the property for the latest information.

It is a strongly alkaline spring, known locally as a beautifying bath that does away with the need for lotion. The large windows of the bathing hall look out over the Koboke gorge and the Yoshino River, so you bathe amid beautiful scenery through the seasons. There is an open-air bath, and rooms with their own open-air bath.

There are three basic plans: the Irodori meat kaiseki, the Iyakei kaiseki and the Obokekyo kaiseki. Built mainly on local dishes using seasonal vegetables and river fish, the kaiseki courses using produce from the sea and mountains of Tokushima are well received.

There is parking for 60 cars (free, no booking needed), with no height limit.
