Yes, each of the 19 detached rooms has its own open-air bath, all fed continuously with 100 per cent natural hot spring water, so you can bathe whenever you like.

Day-use bathing in the large communal bath is available. There are also day plans combining the hot spring and kaiseki cuisine in a detached room. A rest-and-meal plan that includes private use of the open-air bath in a special room is popular.
What are the qualities of the hot spring?
It is an alkaline simple sulphur spring with a distinctive silky feel on the skin, said to help the complexion and to be good for heat rash, eczema and fatigue.

There is a large open-air bath and an indoor bath with a sauna, also open to day visitors. The free-flowing open-air bath is known for its distinctive silky feel on the skin.
