Tell me about the history of the inn.
The inn was founded in 1967 (Showa 42) when hot spring water gushed up from a persimmon orchard in Isawa. Since then, it has developed into one of the largest hot spring facilities in the Isawa-Kasuga-Izukura Onsen area and has grown together with the local community.

What is the hot spring water quality and its benefits?
Isawa Onsen is an alkaline simple hot spring, famous as a "beauty spring" that softens skin and makes old dead skin cells easier to remove. It is colorless, odorless, and non-irritating, making it suitable for a wide range of ages.

What types of hot spring baths are available?
We offer a total of 6 bathing facilities, including Shingen, one of the largest rock baths in the prefecture, plus open-air baths and private (family) baths. The alkaline simple hot spring water at Isawa Onsen is highly effective for skin care and has a gentle mineral composition suitable for elderly guests and children alike.

Are there tourist attractions nearby?
The Isawa Onsen area has many wineries and fruit-picking farms. Shosenkyo Gorge, Takeda Shrine, and Kofu Castle ruins in Kofu city are also nearby, making this a convenient base for sightseeing. The Isawa Onsen Fireworks Festival is held in summer.

You can choose between two styles: a "luxury creative buffet" featuring around 70 dishes made with seasonal ingredients, or kaiseki (multi-course Japanese dinner) with seasonal ingredients served at the quiet, traditional Japanese "Annex Biho". We also have a special room "Biho Special Room".
