How do I get there?
By car, use Nankan IC or Kikusui IC on the Kyushu Expressway. By train, come to Tamana Station on the JR Kagoshima Main Line and take a taxi or car from there. It is about 10 minutes' walk from the Hirayama Onsen Ekimae stop on the Sanko Bus Yamaga-Nankan line.

What is the cancellation policy?

What are the qualities and benefits of the water?
It is 100 per cent free-flowing alkaline simple spring water (a weakly alkaline simple spring and simple sulphur spring). This historic spring is said to have cured Kato Kiyomasa's heat rash, and is known as a beauty bath for its thick, lotion-like water. It is said to help the complexion and to be good for skin conditions and fatigue.

What kinds of baths are there?
There are spacious separate large communal baths for men and women, open-air baths, a private bath and a sauna, all supplied with good-quality water flowing continuously from the source.
