How do I get there from Tokyo?
About 2 hours 40 minutes from Tokyo Station to Izukyu-Shimoda Station on the Odoriko limited express, or about 2 hours 30 minutes via Atami on the Tokaido Shinkansen Kodama. By car it is about 3 hours from Numazu IC on the Tomei Expressway via the Izu Jukan road.
Is there a shuttle from the station?
A free shuttle bus runs from Izukyu-Shimoda Station on a fixed timetable, by advance booking. Departures from the station are at 14:00, 15:00, 16:00 and 17:00, and from the hotel at 9:10, 10:10 and 11:10.

What is distinctive about the hot spring?
We have our own source with the greatest yield in southern Izu. You can bathe at any hour, 24 hours a day, apart from cleaning between 11:00 and 15:00.

What sightseeing spots are nearby?
Shimoda is known as the place where Japan opened to the world after the arrival of the Black Ships, with attractions including Shimoda Park, Ryosenji temple, Perry Road and Shirahama Beach. There are also beaches nearby for surfing and marine sports.
