About 20 minutes by taxi from Bungo-Taketa Station on the JR Hohi Line, or about 45 minutes by car from Yufuin IC on the Oita Expressway. The facility is in the Nagayu Onsen area.

What sightseeing spots are nearby?
The Nagayu Onsen area has several distinctive facilities, including the famous riverside open-air bath Gani-yu and the Ramune Onsen-kan designed by the architect Terunobu Fujimori. Aso-Kuju National Park and the Oka Castle ruins, the setting of the song Kojo no Tsuki, are also close by.

What is the bicarbonate spring at Nagayu Onsen?
Nagayu Onsen is known as one of Japan's leading carbonated springs, and Kur Park Nagayu uses the only bicarbonate spring of its kind in Japan, rising from underground here in Nagayu. Rich in bicarbonate ions, it is said to promote health and support the body's own healing.
