How do I get there from Hakodate Airport?
About 5 minutes by car, or about 10 minutes by taxi, from Hakodate Airport, so access is excellent. It is also about 3 minutes' walk from the Yunokawa Onsen tram stop.

Check-in is 15:00 and check-out is 11:00. Early check-in and late check-out are available for a fee, by prior arrangement.

How many rooms have their own open-air bath?
There are 115 rooms with their own open-air bath, one of the largest numbers in Japan. You can choose from a wide range of rooms, facing the sea (the Tsugaru Strait) or the town.

Given the large number of rooms with their own open-air bath, we do not accept school trips. Most of our guests are individual travellers such as couples.

What are the qualities of Yunokawa Onsen?
Yunokawa Onsen is known for retaining heat well so that you do not cool down quickly, and is counted among Hokkaido's three great hot springs. It yields more than 7,000 tonnes a day and is said to help with fatigue.
Is there a view from the large communal bath?
The large communal bath and the open-air bath face the sea (the Tsugaru Strait), so you can bathe while looking out at the fishing boat lights and Mount Hakodate.

Can I send luggage ahead or leave it with you?
You can send luggage to the hotel in advance by courier (please note the date of your stay and the name on the booking). We can also store luggage before check-in; please ask at the front desk.

Can I use the hotel as a base for sightseeing in Hakodate?
Yes. It is about 5 minutes by car from Hakodate Airport, and the main sights such as Mount Hakodate, Motomachi and the morning market are a short tram or car ride away, making it an ideal base.

Dinner is the buffet Nagisa, with about 50 dishes made with local Hakodate ingredients. The live kitchen, where sashimi and sushi are prepared in front of you to order, is especially popular.
