How do I get here from the nearest station? Do you offer transfers?
It is about a 12-minute walk from Chichibu Railway's Wadō Kurogani Station. If you call the ryokan after arriving at the station, free shuttle service is also available. If using the Seibu Chichibu Line, transfer to Chichibu Railway at Ohanabatake Station and arrive at Wadō Kurogani Station in about 10 minutes.

We are located between Chichibu city and Nagatoro, making us ideal as a base for sightseeing. Chichibu Pilgrimage Site #1 (Shimanbuji Temple) is the nearest pilgrimage temple. Golf courses are about 15 minutes by car.

Children can stay. The facility fee for infants is 1,100 yen (tax included) for Japanese-style rooms, and 3,300 yen (tax included) for rooms with private open-air baths. Please confirm details at the time of booking.

Private baths are available. They cost 3,300 yen (tax included) for 50 minutes per use. Guests can reserve in advance through a dedicated plan (limited number of slots) or book on the day of check-in onwards on a reservation basis.

You can bathe almost 24 hours (no bathing 23:00–24:00 for cleaning and gender rotation, 10:00–11:00 for cleaning).
What kind of hot spring is Wadō Mineral Spring?
It is the oldest mineral spring among the seven hot springs of Chichibu, also called the "Yakushi hot spring." It has a long history of therapeutic use dating back to when Takeda Shingen developed the Wadō gold mine. The facility has two types of bathhouse: a hinoki (cypress) wood bath called "Hinōgi" and a stone bath called "Ishikagami." Male and female bathing areas are switched daily.
