The nearest bus stop is 'Teikoku Hotel Mae'. It takes about 10 minutes on foot from the bus stop to the hotel via the promenade. The path is paved, but please note there are slopes and steps. You can bring your carry-on baggage.

Kamikochi has a year-round vehicle restriction, so private cars (including rental cars and motorcycles) cannot enter. From the Matsumoto area, use the Sawanishi Parking Area (700 yen per day, approximately 2,000 spaces). From the Takayama area, use the Hirayu Akandana Parking Area (600 yen per day, approximately 700 spaces). From either parking area, take a shuttle bus or taxi to the hotel—approximately 30 minutes from both.

Check-in is at 14:00 (latest check-in 17:00). Check-out is at 11:00. Since Kamikochi has nighttime road closures (19:00–05:00), we recommend arriving at the hotel by 17:00 at the latest.

The multi-purpose toilet and private bath are wheelchair accessible. You can also use wheelchairs in the restaurant. We provide 2 wheelchairs for loan and they can be used free of charge for exploring Kamikochi area.

All guest rooms are non-smoking. A smoking booth is available on the 2nd floor.

The hotel operates seasonally from late April to mid-November each year. In 2026, we are scheduled to be open from April 25 (Saturday) to November 14 (Saturday). The hotel is closed during winter. Our winter office (phone: 0263-95-2121, hours 10:00 AM–4:00 PM) handles inquiries during this period.

We have 2 private baths on the 3rd floor made of cypress wood with natural hot spring water that flows directly from the source. These are Kamikochi's only source-fed private hot spring baths. They are available for families and those requiring care, with a barrier-free design.

We have a large public bath and open-air bath on the 1st floor, plus two private family baths on the 3rd floor (mountain-facing side) made of cypress with natural hot spring water flowing constantly. Both the public bath and guest rooms feature natural hot spring water flowing constantly. We are one of only two facilities in Kamikochi with natural hot springs.

Breakfast is served buffet-style. Lunch is available at the riverside terrace 'Kafu-on'. Dinner features authentic French cuisine prepared at an open kitchen in the dining restaurant 'La Riviere'. You can enjoy Kamikochi French cuisine made with carefully selected ingredients.

We offer free rental of bear bells, binoculars, walking poles, umbrellas, rainwear, rain boots, and wheelchairs (in-hotel use only). Please make use of these when exploring Kamikochi.

Washer-dryer machines are available on the 2nd floor. You can use them to wash and dry clothes that get wet from sudden rain or other reasons.

There is no parking lot at the hotel as Kamikochi is subject to year-round vehicle restrictions. From the Matsumoto direction, please use Sawando Parking Lot, and from the Takayama direction, use Hirayuakandana Parking Lot. Then take a shuttle bus or taxi to reach the hotel.
