How do I get here from the nearest station?
From JR Echigo-Yuzawa Station, about 40 minutes by complimentary shuttle bus; from JR Tokamachi Station, about 25 minutes (both require advance reservation). By car, it's about 20 minutes from Kanetsu Expressway Shiozawa-Ishiuchi IC, or about 30 minutes from Echogo-Kawaguchi IC. In winter, please bring tire chains due to road icing.

What activities are available?
Canoeing, tennis, soba-making experience, stargazing, and in winter, snow rafting, tubing, and gondola tours—we offer diverse seasonal programs. A golf course is also adjacent to the facility.

What is your cancellation policy?

What are the check-in and check-out times?
Standard check-in is 15:00 and check-out is 11:00. Times may differ depending on your plan. Note that shuttle buses require reservations by 5:00 PM the previous day, so please confirm this as well.

We have the "Carnelia Premium Wing" cottage where you can stay with your dog. A private dog run is also on site, so we accommodate families with pets. Please contact us at the time of booking for details.

Is this suitable for families with children?
We offer family rooms and cottages suitable for children, and many nature experience programs that children can enjoy. Children's rates are available for Child A (elementary school) and Child B (ages 3–preschool).

In addition to all 143 hotel rooms, cottage-style accommodations are also available. Options include a Family Room in the annex (Japanese-Western style, 53–54 m²), Friends Room (living room plus 4 bedrooms, 58 m²), and a stargazing cottage with a skylight, among other choices.

Is there a hot spring? What is the water quality?
You can enjoy Atema hot spring (alkaline simple hot spring). It is characterized by its tea-brown color and is known as a beauty water. The spring temperature is 38.7°C and is expected to be beneficial for neuralgia, muscle pain, and poor circulation. We have a large public bath, outdoor bath, and private/family baths.

Wi-Fi is installed in all guest rooms. Internet connection is also available, so we can accommodate long-term stays.

There is a pool available year-round. It is especially popular with families with children.

We offer buffet, Western, and Japanese kaiseki styles. The menu features local ingredients such as Niigata beef and Koshihikari rice. Meals are served in a restaurant with panoramic views.
