How do I get there from the nearest station?
About 10 minutes' walk or 3 minutes by taxi from Matsushimakaigan Station on the JR Senseki Line. From Matsushima Station on the JR Tohoku Main Line it is about 15 minutes' walk. We also collect guests from Matsushima and Matsushimakaigan Stations (please contact us in advance on 022-354-4111).

The hotel stands in the middle of Matsushima seafront, with the main sights such as Zuiganji, Godaido and Entsuin all within walking distance, making it a very convenient base.

What room types are there?
There are several types, including sea-facing Japanese rooms and sea-facing Japanese-Western twin rooms. The Premium Centre Wing also has rooms with their own natural hot spring open-air bath.

What is distinctive about the hot spring?
The Matsushima Onsen water known as Kinuhada no Yu, the silk-skin bath, rises here, and there is a large bathing hall and an open-air bath. From the open-air bath you can bathe while taking in the magnificent view of Matsushima Bay. There is also a private bath, Nagomi (charged).

What style are the meals?
Seasonal dishes are served at the Japanese restaurant Rakuraku, with seasonal items such as chilled dishes in summer. Children's meals are 1,000 yen for breakfast and 3,000 yen for dinner, paid on site.
