How do I get there from Nagano Station?
About 50 minutes from JR Nagano Station to Yudanaka Station on the Nagano Electric Railway, then about 60 minutes on the Shiga Kogen line bus to Okushiga Kogen. The hotel is right by the Okushiga Kogen bus stop.
What are the roads like in winter?
In winter, snow tyres are essential and chains should be carried. From Shinshu-Nakano IC on the Joshin-etsu Expressway, take Route 292 towards Shiga Kogen. If you come by bus, note that the timetable differs between weekdays, holidays and the summer holiday period.

The hotel adjoins Okushiga Kogen ski area, so you can ski in and ski out. Skis can also be hired at the hotel.
