How do I get there by car?
About 1 hour from Atsugi IC on the Tomei Expressway (via Hakoneguchi IC), about 40 minutes from Gotemba IC, or about 20 minutes from Moto-Hakone on National Route 1. Parking is available.
Which is the nearest station?
About 90 minutes to Hakone-Yumoto Station on the Odakyu Romancecar, then about 20 minutes by bus, alighting right at Kowakien. From Tokyo Station it is about 1 hour 30 minutes by train via Odawara, and about 2 hours 10 minutes from Nagoya Station.

What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 15:00 (latest 19:00) and check-out is 10:00. You may use Yunessun and Mori-no-Yu from before check-in until after check-out.
Can I check in by machine?
We have self check-in machines, and check-in and check-out are handled smoothly by automatic payment machines. There is also an automated luggage storage system for before check-in and after check-out.

Is it a good place to stay with a baby or young children?
The hotel is certified as a Welcome Baby inn. With a buffet that includes baby food, a wide range of equipment to borrow and spacious hot springs, it is well set up for families. Yunessun also has attractions children enjoy, such as the lazy river pool.

Cash cannot be used for payments inside the hotel; only credit cards and QR payment are accepted. The vending machines are also entirely cashless.

Meals are served at the buffet restaurant Fontainebleau, with seasonal menus including the traditional Kowakien ramen and seafood rice bowls, and dishes cooked to order at the live kitchen.

Is there a pool?
There is a 23 m pool (9:00-17:00, available before check-in and after check-out), set in the natural surroundings of the Hakone outer crater rim. A fountain paddling pool for children adjoins it.

Is Yunessun free for hotel guests?
Hotel guests may use all areas of Yunessun and the Motoyu Mori-no-Yu free of charge, as often as they like during their stay, from before check-in until after check-out. To use them before check-in, please call at the hotel first to collect a gate pass.
