By train: From Izumi Station on the JR Joban Line (a stop for limited express trains), take a local bus toward Onahama/Ena for about 15 minutes to the Aeon Mall Iwaki Onahama bus stop, then walk about 5 minutes. By car: About 20 minutes from Iwaki-Yumoto IC on the Joban Expressway, or about 30 minutes from Iwaki-Nakoso IC.

Wheelchairs are available for rent, and accessible restrooms are provided. A designated accessible parking space is located closest to the entrance.

Pets are not allowed to enter. We offer a service to keep pets in cages at the entrance, but the number is limited and we may not be able to accommodate all pets. Service dogs are permitted.

Re-entry stamps are available at the exit. When leaving, have your hand and admission ticket stamped to allow re-entry on the same day.

Regular season (March 21 to November 30): 9:00–17:30 (last entry 16:30). Winter season (December 1 to March 20): 9:00–17:00 (last entry 16:00). Opening hours may be extended during Golden Week, summer, and Christmas. Open year-round with no closed days.

Advance reservation is required for school educational activities and public institutional use. General groups (20 or more) can enter without reservation, but making a reservation in advance will streamline the entry process.

The indoor exhibits can be fully enjoyed on rainy days. However, an umbrella is needed as the passage from the entrance to the main building has no roof. During severe weather, outdoor areas such as Unomi Beach and BIOBIOKappa no Sato may be closed.

Viewing the exhibits alone takes approximately 1.5 to 3 hours. If you participate in experience programs (fishing, backstage tours, etc.), it may take about half a day.

Photography for personal use is permitted. However, please refrain from using large lighting equipment or taking photos that block the corridors. Flash photography is prohibited in some areas. For commercial or business purposes, please contact us in advance.

General (high school and above): ¥1,850. Elementary to high school: ¥900. Preschool: free. Groups of 20 or more: General ¥1,500, Elementary to high school ¥750. Annual pass (Aquamarine Pass): General ¥4,250, Elementary to high school ¥2,100.

There is a restaurant called Aqua Cross on the 1st floor and a sushi restaurant called Shioime no Umi in front of the large tank on the 2nd floor. You can also bring your own lunch and eat at the 1st floor south terrace, outdoor festival square, Hebi no Me Beach, or Egg Forest (outdoor areas unavailable during bad weather).

There is parking for approximately 1,500 vehicles in front of the aquarium. Large bus parking is also available. Note that the parking area is shared with surrounding commercial facilities. During busy holiday periods, public transportation is recommended.
