How do I get there from the nearest station?
About 15 minutes' walk from Yoshinogari-Koen Station on the JR Nagasaki Main Line. By car it is about 5 minutes from Higashi-Sefuri IC on the Nagasaki Expressway.

Seeing the main points of the archaeological area takes about 2 to 3 hours. Adding a hands-on programme and time in the play area, you can spend half a day to a full day here.

How much is admission to Yoshinogari Historical Park?
Adults (15 and over) 460 yen, seniors (65 and over) 200 yen, and age 14 and under free. Groups of 20 or more pay the reduced 280 yen for adults and 160 yen for seniors. A two-day ticket is also available (adults 500 yen, seniors 240 yen).
Is there an annual pass?
There is an annual pass at 4,600 yen for adults (15 and over) and 2,000 yen for seniors (65 and over), valid for one year from purchase. Parking for cars and motorcycles is also free, which is good value for regular visitors and local residents.

Is the park large? Can I see all of it?
The park is very large, 117 hectares in total, divided into four zones: the entrance zone, the ancient forest zone, the moated settlement zone and the ancient field zone. Covering them all takes some stamina, so we recommend choosing zones to suit your interests.

The exhibition rooms at the park centre and the interiors of the reconstructed buildings can be seen in the rain. Outdoor programmes and the play area may be difficult to use in wet weather.
