When is the best time to see the lavender?
Lavender is usually at its best from late June to early August, peaking in early to mid-July when the hillside turns purple. Different flowers can be seen through the seasons: lupins and rugosa roses in June, lavandin, ageratum and dahlias from August, and salvia and marigolds in September.

Several cafes operate during the flower season (mainly June-September). Lavender soft-serve ice cream and lavender sweets and drinks are popular. The shopping area, modelled on a French passage (a covered arcade), lets you shop comfortably even in sudden rain.
