What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is 15:00-18:30 and check-out is 10:00. As dinner is last served at 19:00, we ask guests to check in by 18:30.

Can I stay with children or as a family?
Yes, families are welcome. A children's dinner menu (Child Plan A) is available, and the Top Floor Suite has four beds for a comfortable family stay.

What room types are there, and how large are they?
All rooms, including the superior Japanese-Western rooms, have an ocean view and their own open-air bath, and are a spacious 60 square metres or more. In April 2025 a single Top Floor Suite was added on the eighth floor.

Do all rooms have an open-air bath?
Yes, every room has an ocean-view hot spring open-air bath looking out over the Sea of Japan. Each room is supplied with Kaike Onsen water, so you can bathe whenever you like.

What is the infinity sky open-air bath?
It is the open-air bath in the bathing hall at the highest point of Kaike Yuzuki, where you bathe amid a superb view in which the Sea of Japan and the sky seem to merge. It uses the infinity-pool style popular worldwide, so that sea, sky and bath blend together.
What are the qualities and benefits of Kaike Onsen?
Kaike Onsen is a marine hot spring rising from beneath the sea, a sodium and calcium chloride spring. Rich in marine minerals and highly moisturising, it is said to help with neuralgia, muscle pain, joint pain, poor circulation and fatigue.
Is there a large communal bath or sauna?
There is a large bathing hall including the infinity sky open-air bath, plus a sauna, so you can also enjoy the Kaike Onsen water in the communal bath.

Is there a pick-up service?
As public buses run from Kaike Onsen towards Yonago Station, we do not operate our own route service, but we do collect guests from the Kaike Onsen Tourism Center stop between 15:00 and 18:00.

What is the food like?
Our chef, a certified sommelier, proposes creative Japanese kaiseki using produce from the mountains and sea of the San'in region. Ingredients such as Tottori wagyu, fish from Sakaiminato and snow crab are carefully selected, and drink pairings are suggested for each dish. On stays of several nights the menu changes from the second night (up to the third).
Can you cater for food allergies?
We can accommodate single-ingredient allergies only, and cannot handle broad allergies such as all fish. Please tell us at least three days before your stay. We cannot guarantee complete exclusion, but we will do our best to remove the allergen. We do not adjust dishes for simple dislikes.

About 15 minutes by taxi or bus from JR Yonago Station; about 10 minutes by car from Yonago IC on the Yonago Expressway; about 25 minutes by taxi from Yonago Kitaro Airport. Free pick-up is available (to the Kaike Onsen Tourism Center, 15:00-18:00).
