Is there parking?
We have free parking for 40 cars. No reservation needed.
What facilities besides hot springs are available?
We have a library, co-working room, bar, lounge, shop, and coin laundry.
Do you offer shuttle service?
We provide complimentary shuttle service to JR Ou Main Line Jinba Station (unmanned) and Ikarigaseki Station (shinkansen stop). If you wish to use this service, please inform us of your arrival time by the day before. You can also reserve the shuttle through our official website.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Standard check-in is 15:00–17:00, and check-out is 11:00. Depending on the plan, check-out may be at 10:00.

What kind of meals are served?
We prepare seasonal menus using fresh river fish, Hiyoke chicken, and Akita's seasonal vegetables and mountain vegetables. You can enjoy course cuisine prepared in Kaiseki style with elements of local cuisine in a private or semi-private dining room. Breakfast features our signature rice porridge and smoothies.
Do you accommodate allergies?
We do our best to accommodate the 7 designated allergens (shrimp, crab, wheat, buckwheat, egg, milk, and peanut). However, removal of trace components may not always be possible. Please contact us in advance.
How do I get there?
Free shuttle service from Jimbaba Station or Ikarigaseki Station on the JR Ou Main Line (advance reservation required). By car: about 10 minutes from Ikarigaseki IC on the Tohoku Expressway, or about 15 minutes from Odate Kita IC.
Can families with small children stay here?
The facility is a traditional wooden building, so noise carries through the hallways. There are no TVs in the rooms, and the inn is primarily geared toward quiet recuperation and adult guests, so it may not be well-suited for families with small children. Please contact us in advance if you have questions.
What types of rooms are available?
We offer Japanese-style, Western-style, and Japanese-Western hybrid rooms. Some rooms have hot spring baths. Some rooms are fitted with Simmons beds. We also have fully renovated former therapeutic bath guest rooms.

What bath facilities do you have?
We have a large public bath and outdoor bath made entirely of Aomori cypress, as well as private baths. Five different hot spring baths throughout the facility are free to use. Private baths can be reserved at check-in (¥1,000 for 1 hour 15 minutes).
What is the hot spring's water quality?
Hikage Hot Spring has been cherished since its opening in 1888 as a medicinal spring good for the skin. The milky white sulfur spring water flows directly from three sources and is called the "Three-Day Spiritual Hot Spring" for its high efficacy. It is also known as "the Kusatsu of Tohoku."
