How do I get to Maji Hot Spring?
The location is remote in a mountainous area with winding roads, so renting a car is recommended. Public buses run only 4 times a day. It takes about 60 minutes by car from Nahari Station, or roughly 2 hours from central Kochi.

What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is 15:00–18:00, and check-out is 10:00 (standard). Times may vary depending on your plan, so please confirm at the time of booking.

What types of guest rooms do you have?
15 rooms total. In addition to Japanese-style rooms, there are riverside view rooms overlooking the Yasuda River. The annex also has twin rooms with lofts where you can relax on the terrace while listening to the river.

Are there tourist attractions nearby?
Maji Village is known as a yuzu (citrus) region and is designated as a Japanese Heritage site. Within the village there are yuzu product factory tours and farm shops. You can also enjoy nature experiences in the deep ravines and clear waters of the Yasuda River.

What kind of food is served?
Grilled ayu (sweetfish), yuzu vinegar and yuzu miso dishes unique to Maji are our specialty. We offer hearty local cuisine featuring the bounty of the mountains and rivers of the Yasuda River. Shampoo and body soap are also yuzu-scented.
