Cormorant fishing on the Chikugo River usually runs from late May to the end of September (on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays). Hotel guests receive a 1,000 yen discount on the usual adult price of 2,500 yen (please see the official website for details).

What are the qualities of the hot spring?
You can enjoy Harazuru Onsen's double beauty waters. An alkaline simple spring of pH 8.5 or above removes old dead skin, while a sulphur spring is expected to help remove melanin from the outer skin layer; the two together are said to leave the skin smooth after bathing.
