How do I get there from Nagoya?
About 1 hour by car from central Nagoya, at the foot of the sacred Mount Sanage. Most guests come via Toyota IC on the Tomei Expressway. Please contact the inn in advance about public transport.

Can I use the baths without staying overnight?
There is a day-use facility on the site, Iwaburo Kinsen-no-Yu, with separate rock baths for men and women and a garden open-air bath. Please contact the facility in advance for opening hours.

What are the qualities of the hot spring?
It is a natural radon spring rising from 1,200 m underground, rare in Japan at only 7 per cent of hot springs. It was the first in Aichi Prefecture to be licensed for drinking, and is the only spring in the three Tokai prefectures chosen as a miracle hot spring recommended by doctors for its therapeutic effect. As well as bathing, you can try the drink spa using the spring water.
Can I drink the spring water?
Yes, we were the first in Aichi Prefecture to be licensed for drinking. We also offer a drink spa with coffee and tea made from the source water, so you can take in the minerals from the inside as well.

Are there sightseeing spots nearby?
There are walking paths on the grounds where you can combine the hot spring with forest bathing. Suzugataki Fudo Myoo, known as one of the leading spiritual sites in central Japan, is also close by.
