How many rooms are there, and what are they like?
The inn has 14 rooms, all Japanese-style. There is a main building, a detached wing and an older wing, and the corridors throughout are laid with tatami. Each room also has a kotatsu.

The inn is close to Motoyu, which has 1,300 years of history, and Yakushiyu, given the highest rating by the Japan Spa Association. Please ask the inn staff about using the public baths.

What is the only open-air bath in Yunotsu Onsen like?
It is a stone bath laid with local Fukumitsu stone, a pale blue-green stone, and it is the only open-air bath in Yunotsu Onsen. There are two large bathing halls, Iraka no Yu and Mori no Yu, and the curtains are switched between them at 11 pm.
What kind of water is it? Is it good for the skin?
The water is drawn from the Yakushiyu source and combines a chloride spring with a carbon dioxide spring, giving a high-quality bath that is very good for the skin. It leaves the skin warm and moist and helps the circulation.

Our head chef prepares an excellent kaiseki course that changes each month, using carefully chosen local ingredients. It is a creative kaiseki built around seafood from the Sea of Japan, and there is also a plan with Shimane wagyu steak. Meals are served in your room, so you can take your time over them.
