What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is 15:00-17:00 and check-out is 10:00. Dinner starts at 18:00 at the latest, and we may not be able to serve dinner if you arrive after 18:00.

All rooms are non-smoking. There is a smoking area outside the accommodation building.

Can children of elementary school age stay?
We ask that children of elementary school age and under do not stay. The inn offers a calm stay intended for adults.

How many rooms are there, and what facilities?
It is a small ryotei inn with 3 rooms. Each has a bath, a washlet toilet, air conditioning and heating, a television, a fridge, a hairdryer, a kettle, a tea set, a safe, a yukata set and a hanten jacket. The washbasins are Shigaraki ware.

Is it convenient for Kifune Shrine?
The inn stands next to the middle shrine, Yuinoyashiro, of Kifune Shrine, which enshrines the water deity and is known for its power in matchmaking, so it is a very short walk to visit.

Is there a pick-up service?
There is a free pick-up from Kibuneguchi Station on the Eizan Railway for parties of two or more, by booking. If you come by car, we can also take your car before check-in.

When can I dine on the summer riverside platform?
The kawadoko riverside platform season runs from about May to September. On platforms built over the stream at the head of the Kibune River, you can enjoy seasonal Kyoto kaiseki including river fish. During the season, dinner for overnight guests is served on the platform.
When can I try nagashi somen, and do I need to book?
Nagashi somen, flowing noodles, is available from July to September, with orders taken 11:00-16:00 during those months. In May and June it is not available between 12:00 and 14:00. It is popular as the only nagashi somen in Kibune.
What food is served in winter, spring and autumn?
Outside the riverside platform season, kaiseki courses and hotpot dishes are served in the Japanese-style rooms indoors. In winter the speciality is botan nabe, wild boar hotpot, eaten around the hearth.
